Capisco/Capito?

What is the difference in the following Non capisco and Non ho capito. They supposedly both mean I dont understand and are there different ways to say I understand.

Hi Ezels,
the difference between the two is simply the tense used:

Non capisco - present - I don't understand
Non ho capito - present perfect - I haven't understood
