choice

Hi
I wonder can someone help me with the pronunciation of the Italian noun "la scelta" meaning mainly choice in English. The dictionary I am using seems to suggest it should be pronounced with an 'f' sound as if it was spelt felta. Is this correct?

Please disregard my last email. I have discovered that the 'sc' in the Italian word is pronounced like the 'sh' sound as used in the English word shelter. Ciao! Ray
