I wanted to say that I'm very happy with this course and it's layout. It seems that the SYSOPS up there finally got everything under control. Pheu! That was quite a ride at the beginning. I also want to commend the Moderators in this forum for their prompt, friendly, and helpful responses.

However, there are some things in the program that I wish were different.

I did prefer when we could open in the computer all the parts of an audio interactive lesson at once. That way I could practice repeating the dialogue in Italian while reading the English version and vice versa. If I needed to peek when I forgot something, all I had to was roll up the page. Now we only can look at one version at a time, and have to click back and forth to peek at one or the other.

Another thing I would have preferred is to have the Grammar Lessons arranged next to their corresponding Audio lesson. For example: Lesson 1.0 'Greetings' should be followed with Lesson 2.6 'To Be..', To have, and so on. That way we could finish all of one subject before going to the next.

I also would like to suggest to add more repetition from one lesson to the next, including the Grammar lessons. I know Alex and Maria do that, but we need more. That way what we learn in one lesson, repetition on the next will drive it home. (One of you competitors does that, they don't cover as mush as Rocket, but what you learn, you don't forget).

If any other students out there agree or disagree with this please post.

Just my point of view, hope you take them under consideration.

thanks for your post and your feedback. I'm glad to hear you enjoy the course.

We changed the way the transcripts were displayed, because we got a lot of feedback from learners that had difficulties viewing them. Currenlty you can still view all transcripts together when you use the print function. When you use the print function you can then save the transcripts as a PDF. I will let the programmers know to see if they can come up with something as well.

Have you tried the quizzes at the end of each lesson? I would recommend doing them again before you start the next lesson. Once you have completed a whole chapter you can do the "self rehearsal" test and you will be asked questions from all the lessons (Interactive Audio Course as well as Grammar and Culture).
